It's a shame the car didn't sell.

A few things might have gone against him:

The service history was not mentioned, which for a high mileage car might concern people.

No mention of the a/c working or not.

Window tints are to everyone's taste. If they are legal he should mention that.

Some photos were not in focus.

I think the starting price was too close to the car's value. If he's after £2k then a classified add would be better, or set an attractively low starting price to raise more interest in the auction.

I wish him well in selling the car.
