N97 Mail for Exchange

Does anyone have any secret tips for making the above work ?

Same SIM/ Exchange server works fine with an E65 running the same software.

Vodafone Support - know less than my Mother in Law.

Exchange is 2003, and not pushing out security settings.

Easiest option is to use IMAP/POP3, or roadsync will do the job.

Are you getting any errors on the phone, or in the Event log on the Exchange server?

Indeed, for some reason I have problems connecting to our exchange server (diff phone though), but it works fine if you set it up as imap on the phone instead

Son has his N97 working (on Vodafone) using the university exchange server. When he re-appears on facebook I'll ask if he had any problems.
