NAvigation CD help please!!!

I have just purchased a 2004 CLK 270 CDI, It has Sat Nav.... or so I thought, the cd is missing and the box i have for it says
Audio 30 APS ECE version 2003 / 6.0 part number ref - A 203 827 31 59 the cd box is branded by Harman/Becker, I can't find one of these cd's anywhere, I have already bought 1 from ebay and it does not work, can somebody please tell me the right disc to buy and if poss where from. Im not sure if my car is W209 or W208.

Your CLK is a W209. Are you sure you have Navigation? Do you have a screen or just a display for Audio. If you are new to Mercedes have a look on Pistonheads and ebay for Mercedes CLK advertised with Navigation.
2004 was the changeover year for the new shape W209 CLK. I prefer not to mislead you as there are more knowledgeable members on the forum.
But I do know that if yours is the newer CLK it should have a wider screen with a blue background when powered up and will need a DVD.
If it is the older W209 it will need a CD and have a slightly smaller screen with an orange background and blue/ black lettering.
Have you gone back to those you purchased your car from? If a Garage you should get them to order you a disc as they probably advertised the car with Navigation (did they?) They should supply you with a disc unless they pointed this out to you at purchase and you agreed to pick it up sans the disc.

If you have the rare APS30 navigation then your car is a pre facelifted one. You need a special APS 30 disk for this unit. I suggest you go into your local dealer, ask them to look up the correct disk based on your chassis number, give you the part number and the price then go straight back to the supplier and tell them that that is what you want. If they refuse, mention that trading standards would like to know about it if they sold the car with navigation but it doesnt navigate!
