Need help choosing wheels for my W220.

Hi all.

Newbie here.

I am looking for a set of chrome deep dish wheels for my S-Class (W220).

I don't want to spend much above £1500, had a look online but tbh a lot of the alloy websites don't have a great (if any) selection of dish.

So far I have found/am considering:

Borbet A: circa £900

MEC Design range : a bit above budget here, around £1700?

D.A.D/Garson Zuenglein DR-301: £???

Iforged Retro: £???

I dunno', I feel like I must be searching for them wrong, because I don't seem to get that many results but I think I must be missing a lot?

Real chrome?.....you would be better of with a really shiny sparkly paint finish that looks a bit like chrome. Chrome looks great and is easy to clean......but one slight touch of a kerb and its knackered.....only a full strip and re chrome will sort it. Not really a practical choice for anything other than a show car ......IMO.

They can be polished aluminium, etc it doesn't have to be ACTUAL chrome.

Those cars both look great. Over the weekend I passed two identical black CL of the same generation parked beside each other on a driveway, and I suspect they’d look cool with this kind of treatment too.

There won’t be too many MBClubbers into this sort of thing, so replies might be slow on this topic. Do remember to post photos when your wheels are on the car - we like photos around here.
