New Brabus styled special edition V6 Vito

Very nice indeed:rock:

Nice nice nice. We're getting a brand new Vito at work next week but I doubt it will look like that! I will report back on handling characteristics and ability to go around corners sideways...

... while going 'nee-naw' or 'woo woo'? :D

I see a police Vito Dualiner regularly around Charing Cross in London ... looks pretty smart with the same 6-spoke 17" alloys as wot my V6 will have.

I've just heard today that the Vito Sport-X is built at the factory as a standard 120, and converted in the UK (Bristol). So all the bits are available to order ... I do like those wheels :)

Nice - but I don't think that I would gone for it had I had the option - bit too posh for me - My van is due end of next week - Yeahh - bring it on - agree love the wheels, that and chrome mirror covers could be first on my shopping list.

I'm meant to be getting mine on the 19th now ... it's currently at the converter's (having caging for the dogs fitted in the back). I bought an '07 reg. for it back in April

I like the wheels .. would have taken them in preference to the 17" 6-spokes but I suspect they would be VERY expensive! Not sure about the front bumper/airdam.

I have a pile of bits waiting to go on mine including
  • chrome grille
  • chrome tailgate trim
  • stainless steel sill plates
  • chrome front indicator bulbs
  • alloy tyre valve dust caps
plus phone cradle, mud flaps, rubber mats, anti-theft wheel bolts, seat covers, extinguisher, spare bulb set :o

I'm certainly looking forward to LOTS of pictures of this very individualised vehicle. ;)

Won't be in the same league as your limo! :)
I'm still VERY envious regarding your choice of power unit.

We have also had a very nice removable cage made for the limo which is only used to protect the pooch from my flotation unit.

John

My local dealers sent me details of this super Vito. Considered it for at least a nano-second before reality set in. The old van has still to do all the 'dirty work' and I would feel cruel putting anything other than people in such a posh van. Besides that, I would end up with three Mercs powered by that same wonderful V6....:D

White van man will be disappointed...only available in red, black or silver...

Yup, bit restrictive. I've gone for Jasper Blue metallic. Have you seen Ford's answer .. the Transit SportVan - complete with racing stripes! But only a 130 PS engine

If you squint a bit it looks just like a Dodge Viper ... NOT! :D

That colour scheme looks hideous

I'm a great fan of the Viper and understand your reasons for making the link; it just does not work for me. Yuk, noi pointe.

John

To be fair to Ford, I think they were paying homage to the GT40 rather than a viper.

(it still doesn't work tho :D )

I've been waiting ages for MB to introduce a sensible 4wd version with a diesel engine in the Vito range, not this ridiculous thing that that is a boy racer machine for the van man.

BTW, the waiting list for a Ford Transit from the factory is currently at 9 months!
