Had a quick search around but couldn't find another post asking the same question.
On the A312, A40 and other roads around London I've noticed new camera's popping up.
A grey pillar with an arm hanging over the road holding up to 5 cameras.
I'm confused as to why you would need 5 cameras on a 3 lane road?! . .
Same on the other side of the road.
the camera's face the cars and seem to have either an infrared light or some sort of sensor over the top of each one.
initially I thought traffic cameras . . but then I'd expect to see just 1 camera . . or 2 at the most.
Then I though ANPR!
any ideas? . .
