New double din cd

Pretty sure this will NOT fit your car but someone will come along and advise.

It would probably fit with some slight changes. Check out mercupgrades.com. They have a guide on there somewhere on how to fit these.

2bh i wouldnt bother trying to fit this type of unit if i were you. If you really want a decent double din unit try aftermarket versions as the sound quality will be miles better and there is bucketloads of extra features etc that the original units dont have.

Definitely not worth the hassle, the dash is a completely different shape for starters...

Thanks, I would rather have an aftermarket system but I want an original look only need something for my music on a budget of £300 for the unit and £200 for some upgraded speakers.

Thanks for the replys

Have a look at www.justkenwood.co.uk or www.caraudiocentre.co.uk

I have dealt with both and they are both fantastic. Great customer service etc. You may have come across my other threads about my problems with kenwoods steering wheel interfaces and the guys at justkenwood were happy to send the different interfaces to keep trying until i got one to work. When i had said to them that the kenwood head office told me that the opened interfaces would be non-returnable the guy at justkenwood said "it doesnt matter about that main thing is that we get your stereo working properly". Cant beat that lol.

There are plenty of cheap units to be had from halfrauds within their ripspeed range. They work as they should but its nothing like having a kenwood or alpine installed. For a decent bottom of the range new double din unit by a popular manufacturer £300 isnt going to be enough im afraid.

Definitely worth shopping around really...the link i posted is to the longest standing online car audio retailer, having won best electronic retailer for many years, their customer service is second to none. Based on the couple of websites that cplnoonoo just posted, car audio direct seems to be cheaper on nearly every model, by quite some margin on a couple of items. (This is not a dig on cpl, just pointing out some facts)

I also disagree with the comment that £300 isn't enough, there are 9 units on the CAD site that come in under £300, all by the likes of alpine, kenwood, pioneer, clarion etc...
Not all of them offer full DVD capability etc, but some do (like the one i already posted)

CAC are one to avoid. Would recommend Car Audio Direct or Car Audio Security.

If you want a recommendation for a kenwood i can give you mine which is the DDX-8024BT. Its their top of the range unit but without satnav built in. Thats an extra £300-400 or you can buy the same unit with sat nav already built in but it costs £1300?

The one with satnav is the 9240BT which as i said is £1300 but the one i have is only about £750-800. You can get a freeview tv module for a couple of hundred £ and the satnav as above.

I know its quite a bit out of your price range but trust me its worth saving for lol.

Not sure how it would look in the dash of your motor but i can post a pic of mine later on when im finished work if you like?
