Hi guys! Currently in the process of moving from a Stage 2 tuned MK2 Ford Focus RS hopefully into a C63 AMG coupe. In negotiations with a red one currently at a dealer. It's a nice low mileage example at a good price,although unfortunately with very few,if any, optional extras. The one thing I would like to upgrade if I went for it would be the optional 19" blavk AMG wheels from the standard 18" wheels. How easy or hard is it to come by a set or any pointers on where to go for a set,new or used?

Welcome to the forum. Likewise from Aberdeen, quite a few C63's going about. The 19" inch wheels with the tyres will likely set you back around 3.5k. Some websites do offer them cheaper. Are you buying from Mercedes Aberdeen? Ask for a discount on the wheels. I run option 18's. Look fine but don't fill arches as well but was fed up with rock hard ride on previous amg's. Spend the money on a quaife diff. It's a great upgrade! Watch out buying used / new 19's. They are prone to cracking. Do a search on Google.

Sorry can't help with 19" wheel question, mine came with them, they do fill the arches nicely but some complain they have an adverse effect on handling?

I've just ordered a Quaife LSD and will be having it fitted at Wallace Performance, when they can fit me in, I'll also be having the secondary cats gutted and a remap too. Should be looking at 520+BHP hopefully.

thanks for the welcome guys! I came to a deal with the trade in of my RS for the red Coupe I briefly mentioned in my first post which I'm chuffed to bits about!

Yeah I did find a website selling new 19" wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres for £3k which I thought was steep but sounds like it might be the going price. Thanks for the tip about second hand aswell,wasn't aware of potential cracked rims being common! I agree though that the 19's fill the arches nicely. Might have to run about on the 18" wheels for a while.

I didn't buy from the Mercedes dealership no,it was a trade-in car at Specialist cars Nissan that someone swapped out for a GTR
