New MB owner - C180 Estate SE Exec

Morning all,

This week we moved from a Fiat Bravo 2.0 diesel (excellent, excellent car) to a one year old C180 SE Executive Estate. Very please with the deal, but it's an ex MBFS Europcar lease car - I'm assuming it was owned by MB, managed by Europcar, and used as a courtesy car. The car's in good condition, but probably has had lots of different drivers - likely well run in then!

I wanted to by a C220, but was surprised how good the 1.6 turbo was in this car, so took the plunge.

Those engines are overshadowed by larger offerings and too easily dismissed but are peaches in their own right, IMO. Welcome to the forum, Dave.

I'm assuming it's the MB system giving details on a car - I'm just reading what it says at the top. It's quite informative saying who owned it, the build spec, order date, any order changes, build date, import details etc.

Looks like mine took 3days to build and exported immediately!

We didn't realise ours was used by Europcar until the tax book came, not that it mattered.

Mine was bought at Mercedes Direct and previous owner was Europcar. Presumably Europcar has a lease deal with MB.
