New member - returning to mb's !

Hello one and all.
I find myself returning to the MB marque after some time away. Done the rounds on alternative German motors and have now landed with my E class. My previous MB was a C180, a '95 car which was brilliant (after being fettled a little bit) and its still rolling around today. Never should have sold it actually !

Well after two months of owning the 270 the troubles begin. Thanks to this forum i've gained a lot of general information and understanding of the issues surrounding the w211's.

Ok, now to post an engine problem question ! lol.

Thanks for the welcome boys.
Unfortunatley the new merc experience has only lasted three troublefree months. It's a w211 so the usual radiator / intercooler issue's been nipping my head. Managed to suss out the modified radiator part number and confirm that my car got the 'good' rad in it. Time to treat the tranny to a flush and filter. On my way to Weirs in Perth for 10 litres of their finest the god dam thing lost power, so limp home we did, (after splashing out £140 to Johnie Boy's). Theres a post on the engine forum, but i guess you've heard it all before lol.
