Hi folks, new to the forum! and to Mercs..
I'm just in the process of chopping my old BMW 330d coupe in for a 2015 A45 AMG.
my excuse was I needed 4 doors to get my parents in the back -
I get it in September - and had a few questions?
1. Is it worth getting the Becker module satnav from the dealer? or is it just as easy getting a module from eBay say? I hear about a Garmin unit as well, will that work on this car?
2. I've seen a few posts and internet sites about the "easy fit" power boosting units, anyone got one (good / bad experiences) and are they worth it? will it be detected on a service - say?
3. its got a few options on it as its a demonstrator, red brakes, aero package, sports exhaust, AMG wheel etc. but - are any of the options available to fit afterwards? - like auto dimming mirrors? I guess they would be expensive?
4. any tips in general for "things to buy" or accessories? I do like a good spend! (within reason) anything every A45 or AMG owner should have?
5. not sure what tires are on it, any recommendations
(I guess it may be tire hungry)
Sorry if I sound a bit naive? but I am!
The only other Merc I've had was a E180 that I used back in 2009 on a "Crumball" rally across the alps.. I enjoyed that though!
So any help will be greatly appreciated.
looking forward to getting it, driving it and meeting up sometime!
