Hello everyone... thought I'd finally get in the mix with you all!
I've been stalking the forum for a few months now. Great reading.
January I began my search for a car that would give me the ultimate buzz, while remaining a luxurious everyday car. I am very much into my road bikes so most cars become boring after 6 months in comparison--So something I wouldn't get bored of basically. I had three cars in my mind. NISSAN GTR, BMW M3 & the C63 coupe. Never really saw myself as a merc guy to be honest, however my old man has the gullwing & I knew the 63 had the same engine albeit less of a power plant-so I had to see if the 63 had the same AMG madness which I wanted in my life!
Being brutally honest I had my heart set on the GTR. However, after the Plastic Jap interior i came to despise on the test drive and the insane upkeep of the thing,it put me off. amazing car, brutal speed but it wasn't an every day car, for me anyway! The M3..don't know what all the hype is about really, I was very disappointed. I drove straight to MB and had a go in a demo C63 coupe and knew it was for me as soon as the engine crackled into life.
So I looked everywhere for what I wanted, and was as patient as I could be waiting for the right one. It paid off. I found a 2012 C63 PPP coupe black on black with low miles and one owner from new, it was private which was a bonus. Great guy, cherished the car for 3 years before moving onto the F-type R. I snapped it up and managed to get a week of sideways action and lots of Shell fuel stops before coming back to work where I have been constantly reading this forum getting my little fix of AMG! I only have to wait 4 weeks to drive it again! I hope the pics work. I apologise for the essay I just wanted to share my excitement with you fellow petrol heads!
