For those of you out there with MB manuals on CD for models 107,116,123,124,126 ,I came across this obscure site in the MB coupes web site forum http://drmemory.org/~dakota/MB/maintenance/ReadMe.html It offers an alternative means to navigate round the manuals on CD. Its a FREE download with detailed instructions I have tried it and it seems to work OK although some of the drop down menus dont work. It crashes frequently if you use Micrsoft explorer :( :( whats new? but seems better using Netscape Navigator 4.08. You open Navigator off line and load the Main.html file and your off. The drop down menus may work with the right plug ins or newer versions of the CDs but dont know  . Give it a try and see what you think :) . cheers

I HAVE NOW FOUND THIS SITE WHICH CLAIMS TO HAVE COPIES OF MOST OF THE MANUALS FOR THE OLDER MODELS MENTIONED IN MY PREVIOUS POST ON LINE. YES ONLINE!! http://skinnerbox.steaky.org/Service/Library.html I HAVE TRIED THE 124 MANAUALS WHICH SEEM TO WORK. The download time seems very slow even with 1Mb/sec broadband but if you are after a vital bit of info not covered by Haynes etc then you might find it here. start to download the relevant pdf file and go off and carve the turkey!!

I have tried other model indexes on this page but they dont seem to work!!! There also appears to be bad blood between the guy who set up the skinnerbox website and the original author of the index system see http://drmemory.org/~dakota/MB/MB1.htm Sorry if I got peoples hopes up about the manuals being on line. The indexing system does work if you have the original cds
