Nice wheels please update the pic with the wheels on your car

EDIT - have you bought already? - if so please ignore.

My advice would be to go for 19's.

I can't recall whether you'd already said you'd ruled them out though.

They fill the arches better. even though the overall dimension of tyre/wheel is basically the same.

Here's the difference (even allowing for the illusion the photo gives).

Silver for me.

The wheels are a nice design but I prefer the OEM look, maybe try and find some genuine C63 wheels but I appreciate the money escalates.

Considered 19's. Yours has air suspension. Mine doesn't! (or does it???)

Prefer the look on yours toooo......... sadly haven't come across the bargain you must have found on ebay!!

So ride quality on 19's is ok?? not to harsh???

Do you have a Comfort. Sport 1, Sport 2 button behind the gearstick.

All E estates have air rear.

Ride on mine is ace, but as you say, it's on air.

I paid £650 with tyres (not much tread) from ebay - CLS wheels.

Hi John,

Mine has C or S (Comfort or Sport I have always assumed!!)

soooo.... Is mine on air front and rear?? Had 18"'s on my old E Class and that was fine.

Totally agree with you about 19"s filling the rims.

Ohhhhh where did you get your tyres and what are you running on as I've noticed "noisy" tyres on some cars.

Many thanks,

David

I think you're thinking of the gearbox mode button, ahead of the gearshift.

The Airmatic is behind it, where the two red lights are.

I run Goodyear Eagle F1's and they are quieter than my previous Conti Sport Contact 3's, though estates tend to be noisy at the rear.

Ahhhh right you are.

Nope mine doesn't have that. Thought the previous owner had speced it really well too! I can't see that making a difference? Although apparently it was speced with AMG suspension package.

So. Any tips on who to buy tyres off?

Nice,
But would prefer genuine wheels
I am after too, but only will be looking for genuine w211 spec wheels
