Newbie from Glasgow

Hi guys, just to say hello from sunny Glasgow (thats a change). Just bought the wife a nice 190 auto (petrol) from a good friend of ours (Tom Bicket of Bickets MB). Anyway it'sa lovely car to drive but i have a wee problem starting in the morning. It coughs and splutters for five mins then its fine to go....Maybe i should wait to post this on another thread.

Welcome along Legionnaire. Great cars to 190's. Sounds like the car has a problem on the "cold start" function or its plugs and filters.

Welcome to the forum , as above there are quite a few of us local to you - hope to see you at some of our get togethers !

Read your other post re the car - I'm sure it isn't anything a good service would not fix - you have half a dozen local Mercedes specialists to choose from , all of which have been recommended by one member or another .

The ones I have used are Merparts in Port Glasgow , Glen Henderson in Ayr (former dealer , now indy ) and HK Autotec in Saltcoats . There are others in Govan , Clydebank and Carluke which I personally have not tried but others have reported favourably on . Besides that there are the official dealers but their charges are somewhat higher .
