Newbie questions

Hi guys. Just bought a 2013 E350 Blue efficiency AMG Coupe. I don't have The Navigation Module. Is it as simple as buy the module, seen them on EBay, and plug and play? If so where do I plug?

Also is it hard to install the backup camera?

Hi and Welcome.

If your car has the Audio20 unit with pre-wiring for Becker Map Pilot (look inside the glove compartment for a small socket - at the top right-hand corner), then there are plenty for sale on eBay and also from time to time in the classified section on this forum. Expect to pay £150-£200 for a second-hand unit.

Re rreversing camera, the original MB reverse canera only worked with COMAND (the high-end SatNav unit with hi-res screen).

If your car is not fitted with the COMAND option, but has the basic Audio20 unit instead, then you will need to look for an aftermarket kit that will work with the low-res screen you have on the Audio20 unit. They do exist but not easy to come by.
