Small piece on the radio 4 program Today this morning about Nissan's ongoing expansion in Russia and how they are re-introducing the Datsun "moniker" there.

Their St Petersburg Plant is to double manufacturing capacity to produce the
next generation Qashqai for Russian market and they have entered a joint agreement with AvtoVAZ [ the company that run the old LADA Plant in Togliatti] to start making DATSUN cars for the Russian market and beyond.
When asked about growing tensions with the WEST the MD of Nissan Europe seemed remarkably unfazed about the whole thing.I guess business is business.
