Hi,
Would someone please let me know how I can test the starter using bridging of starter relay. Shorting of 30 & 87 of the starter relay holder does nothing. I want to find out the state to the starter before I move on to check other components.
The car is in 3 feet of snow and the starter can't be reached physically.
Thank you.

Have you started at the bettery first ...is it fully charged up , and are both the battery clamps on tight .And if the battery is low , it will cut off all power to preserve the information in the computers ? Who told you to short out 30 and 87 ? and on what relay have you done it on ?

Battery is good, power on fuse box, all fuses and relays check fine. Battery is good under trickle charge all the time. Aux. battery has 12 volts. Just to make sure the starter turns so I can concentrate on other possiblities like transmission components. Start relay I bridged is relay I. But I think relay H has be switched one before that.
