Any ideas please ..... (2007 CL63 AMG) Car drives brilliantly most of the time. When cold no issues at all.
Particularly in hot weather and when car is up to normal operating temperature when you come to a COMPLETE stop at lights or junction and go to move off there is no response from the throttle (car just idles) but will roll forward (as auto's do) Can be very dangerous as you can imagine.
I have tried the following when it happens:-
Putting in and out of gear
Switching car off and on
Pumping peddle (in N and D)
Harsh language etc!
Have reset throttle 'memory' but it still does it.
This is an intermittent fault that has got considerably worse recently but may be as a result of the hot weather.
If I am able to roll the car back or forwards some distance (under idle) the car will flash and beep the warning triangle then come back to life and drive normally?
My own feelings would suggest nothing to do with throttle but another sender / sensor that feeds info to it?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated .... Thank you
