noob needs advice

Hey all, I ve been offered a w208 clk230 Elegance manual on a 51, as they seem to be dropping in value considerably just wanted to ask do they have any major faults?, the one Ive been offered has a few little things to fix like the digital temp and digital clock in the cluster both have sections missing, someone has put some c**p dbl din tv thing in that is a pain as when you change gear u press the buttons everytime...... any advise and a value guide would be greatly received

look for servie history and you should be fine....but check like a detective for RUST!!

If you can find one without rust you've found a diamond in the rough!

Cluster problems are very common on these but can be repaired by specialist companies e.g. cluster repairs Cluster Repairs UK - Instrument cluster speedometer repair, correction, modification and spares. . Thanks for your help ppl, as far as i can see there isnt any rust (yet) and it has a full merc history and AMG light wheels which from looking on here seem to be worth a grand, cars gotta be worth 3k aint it??
