Northern AMG Meeting 24 June, “Locomotion” , Shildon, County Durham.

Hi everyone


I’m planning an AMG meeting on the 24 June at “Locomotion” the rail Museum in Shildon , County Durham , DL4 2RE. If you are an AMG Private Lounge Member and you wish to attend please add your name to the list on the PL forum post. As always if you have a Mercedes and wish to attend you are most welcome to do so, unfortunately I cannot guarantee any AMG freebies if you are not an AMG PL Member.


This is an interesting venue with good parking, catering and The North Yorkshire Moors are not far away for a drive in the afternoon. The venue is free to enter and there is no charge for car parking, voluntary contributions to the cost of the museum are most welcome.


As Locomotion is less than an hours drive South of Newcastle hopefully this should qualify it as a “Proper Northern Meeting”

The venue opens at 10am on Sunday and I will be planning to arrive just before to post the AMG Private Lounge banner on whichever fence looks most suitable.


If you are planning to attend could you let me have your name, car and the number who will require breakfast. I will add names to this list below as I get them.

Richy just mailed me this. Won’t be able to make it due to work commitments! Will definitely look to trying to make one if work permits!

I have only met Abb from the forumn who coincidently was on a plane from Teesside airport to work! Just before my first offixial AMG purchase!

Unfortunately due to lack of interest, only Ritchy and myself put our names down, we have decided to cancel this meeting. I’m hoping to arrange something in August. If you are interested please see the thread below.
