I've used the black hole stuff in the past,very good at getting rid of swirl marks,you can't beat a good days machine polishing though.

I've recently had very good and long lasting results with turtle wax black ceramic spray,very easy to use.

Re: I used too much on the bonnet and nearly gave up doing the rest, so hard was it to polish the wax off. Lesson learned, use less and its far easier to polish - many many years ago - when the Ford Cortina was the car to have, my father was in discussion with one of our relatives who was in the motor trade.

He advised that polish should be applied with a damp piece of stockinette, then removed virtually straight away with a dry buffing cloth, as if left too long, it would be hours of work to get it off - over 40 years later and still the same problems!
