om642 3 ltr diesel.

Hi. I have a 2007 mercedes with the om642 3 ltr diesel. the problem is very intermitten , only seems to happen when gently cruising around town about 1100 revs or not hardly touching the accelorator for a short while, l then apply on the accelerator and nothing ..... engine is still running but naturally slowing down as l cant apply any revs/ increase speed. this lasts for about 2-3 seconds ( and no its not turbo lag)please any ideas

Inlet port shut off motor?
Exhaust back pressure sensor?
Turbo actuator?
Airmass sensor?
Coolant temp sensor?
Throttle position sensor?

I could guess more but you’d be better checking it for codes, if none then you need to scroll through the hundreds of streams of data while the fault occurs.
