Someone prior to me has been in there at least onc. With a torch angled right between the fuel filter and intake manifolds, you can see both rods and they have already been replaced with the one piece billet aluminium ones. But it appears they didn't replace both orange seals as they where cracking and turbo one had a small split in it or replaced the motor itself. Why as they where in there at the time to me seems a little silly
That is daft, personally, I’d change the orange seal as part of the service, as they’re cheap off eBay and easy to fit, as you already know, it can cause havoc if it leaks excessively, but make sure you get the correct one, there are several types.
Does anyone happen to know what the part number for the swirl flap motor is. So I can get one order please.
I can definitely confirm it is the swirl flap motor that has failed, because after doing the resistor bypass to check. Engine MIL has gone out and the boost is back.
