om642 o2 Sensor / Exhaust Temp Sensor

Hi All,

Can anyone confirm the correct Bosch o2 Sensor part number for a CLK320 cdi?

My searches are coming up with 0258017014 LS17014 and 0258017016 LS17016?
Any issues fitting a Bosch sensor not bought directly from MB? The price difference is huge.

If anyone needs one, Ebay currently have 20% so one can be had for £65. These are new with guarantee from reputable eBay retailers.

Should the exhaust have a temp sensor on or around the catalytic converter? When I was changing my engine mounts the Mercedes WIS referred to one but mine doesn't have one. I couldn't see where one would physically go in to the exhaust but there is a electrical connector next to the o2 connector that had nothing plugged in to it.

If it helps anyone in future..

The correct one is 0258017014 LS17014 for the CLK320cdi right hand drive. I think the only difference between the 2 is the length of the cable.

The reason I replaced this was due to generic fault code (No EML): P0132 - reporting High voltage reading on o2 sensor.

The live data voltage on the old o2 sensor fluctuated between 0.3-3.5v and at times it would just jump or dip when staying at same speed. Tried clearing the fault but it always came back and sometimes also had the faults P2032 AND P2A00.

Installed new one, cleared codes, not come back. The o2 live data voltage now stays between 0.6-2.7v.
