Hi Had my W204 C320 Cdi For nearly 3 years now.
I had oil blowing into Turbo and bat wing so was advised to change PVC valve , So did that but still kept seeing a small amount of oil on lip of turbo and a smearing in bat wing.
But accidentally came across a video of a om642 engine fitted in a sprinter with same issue he then showed this
oil breather 2.jpg
Which bolt`s onto rear engine that PCV vale fits in that should be changed because causes oil to blow past seal Part no A 642 010 01 31,
easy to fit undo PCV valve 3 bolts then undo 2 bolt`s that fasten it in place then a small pry bar or screwdriver bit of patients feels like its welded on but does come out,
I did mine after a run so things where warm put a bit of fresh oil on seals and used bolts to pull it in tight ( used air filter bolt`s their a bit longer till it pulled in then swaped for original bolt`s

I know some will allready know this info but thought it might help someone

Good call buddy , I changed mine about 3 years ago when someone else mentioned them .
Easy fix for the price ..

Has anyone seen this part on the W212 OM642? I tried to buy it and MB parts said it didn’t exist on my cars.

This was my pics of the job a couple of years ago

Yours most likely takes the 1791 part that is a single assembly with the valve being the metal part that bolts on the back of the cam.
