Hi Guys!
Meant to add to be last post, has anyone got any tips on looking after the dark open-pore wood found on E class?
Thanx again!

If it’s lacquered then just a wipe with some diluted APC (all purpose cleaner)

(Owners manual)
■ Wipe the wooden trim and trim pieces with a damp, lint-free cloth, e.g. a microfiber cloth.

■ Heavy soiling: use car care and cleaning products recommended and approved by Mercedes-Benz.

I just use an APC and then wipe over with a natural look trim dressing

I’m a bit disappointed with mine, some of the black finish has chipped off on the edges.. Mine is only 4 years old and looked ‘dried out’ in places.
I went over it a few times with wax and now it looks much better (to my eyes). Although it’s waxed, it’s not shiny.
I tried black shoe polish on the chipped parts, but that didn’t really work. I then settled on ‘black bumper restorer’, applied with a fine brush, left overnight then buffed off.

My Glc is a 2021 and I’ve noticed slight cracking to the anthracite open pore oak door to the cubby\ phone charging area..!
Has anyone also experienced this..?
The car is still under MB warranty so I wonder if this will be resolved by them?

No chemicals, damp microfibre, then dry microfibre
