Opening a MacBook Pro...

Very good.

I work in IT support in a research institute and some of the questions I get are priceless. My favourite to date has been "I am supposed to type a backslash in as part of a password, but I don't know where it is??", this was from a(english - so no keyboard language excuse) Professor who is part of a team to find cures for cancer... I do hope he makes up for this particular lack of talent elsewhere ;) .

The astonishing thing is his issue was exactly the same as that dealt with by "The World's First IT Guy" in the link I gave. A case of life imitating art?

Reminds me on one user think it was in America, calling the helpdesk saying the PC will not switch on.

Help desk chap asked him to check the ports that everything was connected.

User said he couldn't see them.

When Helpdesk person asked why.

User replys saying the lights are all out in the building.

Helpdesk bod, so there is a power cut..

User ooh yes.
