Hi All,
I appreciate any help.
C Class c250cdi 2013 (W204)
Car is in limp mode, P0101 fault code. I have replaced an air-intake hose as it had a very tiny pin-hole, but I cannot get the fault code to clear. When I re-set it and run the check again before the engine re-starts, the fault still shows.
When I clear the fault and start the car, the EML has gone but th car still won't rev above 2,500rpm.
Do i need to do any further adaptions etc to tell the car that I have fixed the likely fault? Or is there likely to be an additional fault that is being picked up, even without the engine running?
I am using Icarsoft MB V3.0
Many Thanks.

The MAS might be at fault also...
Thanks for the info. When the fault occurred, it was under heavy-load (overtaking), and there was a long hesitation and then restricted power, without the EML. I had replaced the other intake hose last year when the same thing happened so I thought I would take both hoses off and inspect. the one i hadn't changed had a TINY hole but had an oily residue at the point of entering the engine so I assumed this was the fault.
It it was the MAS that is the issue, would I be able to see this under the "Live Data"?
Thanks,

There should be a service function to run when you replace air filter and MAF. I'm guessing you only need the former.

If you've had a leak for a while chances are the air mass adaption has compensated for the leak, you've then fixed but the adaption still applies, pushing it out of range.

When replacing the air filter and MAF sensor, it's essential to perform a service function, primarily for the MAF sensor. If there was a long-term air leak, the air mass adaptation may have compensated for it. After fixing the leak, the adaptation values may need adjustment to bring them back into the correct range.

Thank You. I will look at which service options I have on my Icarsoft today.

Thanks, i'll take a look at the service functions today and see if I have that.

See pressure sensors readings at engine not running, if they vary from atmospheric, car thinks there should be flow but mass flow sensor is not showing any.

Thank You all for your help and suggestions. In the service mode, I reset the Lambda sensor and everything has been fine for the past 48 hours! :)
