Good afternoon everybody, was driving my C200 Blutec on Friday and the car suddenly got the dreaded engine warning light and then my car lost all power and felt as if it was going to stall, I continued my journey home and parked up and put a cheap OBD reader in and got the following faults;
P229E, P22A6, P229E, P0201, P22A6, P2002. Luckily my partners dad owns a car garage and got it in straight away on the afternoon. We managed to solve the problem (majority down to DPF) and cleared all faults but one. The car is still misfiring and has fault P0201 Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinder 1. We took out the injector and had a quick look and it seemed okay so switched it with injector 4 and fault P0201 is still coming up. My amateur opinion is a wiring fault due to all other codes randomly popping up but a friend thinks it could be a cylinder problem. Can anyone offer their opinion on this as its sending my head around the bend.

All sorted just incase anyone has a problem in future, turns out it was a wiring fault on top of the injector!
Simple things first often pays before pulling things to bits and causing other problems! Glad you have it sorted.

Ernie
