Paddle Shift connection unclipping them

C220 sport
Hi I have a 2007 C220 Sport and am trying to remove steering wheel to remove the ESL for reconditioned part.
I’m having trouble disconnecting the 2 paddle shift connections. Anyone know how?
Please help I’m a bit stuck
