Parking sensors going mad

Hi everyone
The parking sensors on my 2017 c class estate have gone made and seem to beep for no reason. It was pretty bad before but after I took the car to a hand car wash it's much worse. I saw on Youtube that it could be water has got into the sensors and it suggested wd40 to drive the water out. I have tried that but to no avail. Anyone got any suggestions?

I had two Parktronic sensors replaced recently, I kept the old ones to see if they could be dismantled and came to the conclusion they were not and to be honest it would be quite difficult to get water ingress even from a high pressure spray.
I appreciate this doesn't help solve your problem.

Could be water ingress to the under bumper connector.
