Can someone tell me the part number for a viscous coupling for a 3.2 M104 engine please? Also does anyone know how much they approx. cost and what sort of labour charge would i be looking at for fitting. Thanks.

As far as i can tell that part no. 1042000122 will fit engine numbers up to 104992 22 013997 so i think you should be ok.

Your engine is 10499 22 012642 is that correct?

A note of caution--these units are supposed to be stored vertically according to the MB workshop manual. Don't ask me why--- probably to stop the viscous fluid ending up somewhere it shouldn't be. I don't know how critical this is to be honest but they should never be left lying on the bimetal strip front.
