Optional boxes usually have a B6* accessory number rather than a standard part number. I will look up the 209 CLK55 AMG exhaust system when I get home anyway :)

This part number is not valid. I cant find it in price books, EPC or anywhere else.

nor me. </aol>
nor is the more likely number of 2084900201

but the 490 bit does refer to exhaust...

2084900601 is the 55 amg one.. 1290 dollars - yes 1290  - thats JUST the twin outlet type backbox.. no pipe to mid section.

It is a twin outlet backbox (currently on ebay) I couldn't trace it through the usual sources and the local dealer was no help, perhaps it is 601 code you found guy and its been listed wrong, have mailed the seller to confirm. It'd be a bargain if it would fit a 320.

i had a look at that - the 'pins' are completely different to the 208 series ones - is the new new slk (pointy nose one) a 209 then?

heres a pic of the 8 cyl (amg) and 6 (320) 208 slk exhausts - 8 on top...

Another request for help on Part Numbers

HWA 1170160120/0220 AMG Head Gaskets and C7010074 + C7010073 which are left and right Cam Cover Gaskets.

Is anybody able to find these parts listed??

Bit of a long shot I know, but any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

thats been replaced...

it also refers up to engine 960 000885

the new number is 117 016 07 20 and 117 016 06 20

the cam cover gaskets for that engine (M117.960, which has quite roundy cam covers) are:-
116 016 13 21 left
116 016 14 21 right (which interestingly is an upgrade/ replacement)

this is for a 5 litre SL or SLC 107 isnt it?

Guy,

Hello mjtray here, aka Vlad........they are for my AMG Hammer.

Not sure these are the right parts....my cam cover's are not the same as the M117.

However the headgaskets are an interesting conundrum....I'm wondering if they are just a standard M117 Head Gasket as the block appears to be a standard M117 block. If this is the case you would think that the oil/coolant passages from the block would have to line up with the same pattern in the heads, and although the heads are completely different maybe the face of the heads are the same pattern as the standard heads.

Maybe its only the Cam Cover gaskets that are unique to this engine?

I was given these part numbers by AMG in Germany and told to order them through my local MB dealer....I've tried two different dealerships and they can't make head or tails out of the part numbers.

Its looking likely that I will have to try and order the directly from AMG.

Many thanks

just a silly idea - did they use the AMG developed head to make the M119? Can I have a picture of the end of the cam / head? I might be able to find it on anotehr engine...

edit - looking at the epc pictures of the M117 and M119 head gaskets, they are very similar...

guy
thanks for the pic, having looked under my car the pin position is the same as the ebay item and my code commence 203 as obviously shares the same component as the c class, still don't know whether only suitable for a 55 though.

cheers
