Performance gains at a "low" cost?

Anyone old enough to remember a tiger tail hanging from the fuel cap?
Not sure it was a performance gain, but did give a sense of well being...or was that feline fine?

ESSO petrol. I still remember these things hanging there in the rain and road dirt. You knew the cars that had recently removed them, as they all had a clean arc in the paintwork under the petrol flap.

What about the rocket Jimbo Bond had in his Aston at one point....
Not done properly if within budget though of course, but a proper bodge job needed to keep it cheap / real

When you have fitted a few of these mods you will find the car’s performance is vastly improved so don’t forget about safety.
Fit a roll cage to provide protection and also improve handling.
Obviously you don’t want to be adding weight to the car so the best material is to use is foam pipe lagging. Comes in handy lengths and you just stick it up inside the car each side of the windscreen, along the top of the door openings and then down each side of the rear window. Job done.

You need to install a bread bin. No, wait thats not quite right? Ah it's a roll cage you need. I knew it was something used to keep your flour based foodstuffs in.

Found it. The ultimate performance upgrade for very minimal cost. Forget Garfield in the back window, Red Bull can to cover the ignition coil or DTM tailpipes, this lets everyone know you mean business.

If I wear Sparco Racing Boots at all times, can I expect performance gains?

Of course. I'm surprised you even asked.
Multiple exhaust pipes let everyone know you have a powerful car and will attract admiring glances from the lads outside the kebab shop.download.jpg

I have today found a real, rolling road killer. The utopia that will do away with the need for a 'dyno' run. 0 > 60 will be measured in the blink of an eye. You will get to your destination before you have left your current location.......

No, it is not "time travel" or some Star Trek teleportation device. It has been staring me/us in face all this time.

It is..

A Nurburgring Sticker.

To complement your newly fitted array of exhaust pipery, may I suggest another subtle mod to improve handling and leave the lads aghast at the kebab shop at your new found coolness. I give you.....negative camber:banana:

I've had a fair few cars come back from races like that....and they have always been shunted. Why would you want to make it look like that:confused:
I have seen more camber than that, but only on a Moto GP bike:cool:
