Petrol V6 engine and NOx sensor SCN coding

Hi,

I have a Mercedes c350 with the m276 petrol V6 engine with 3.5 liters.

Does anyone know if the NOx sensors need SCN coding or update the engine ECU when you put new ones? Or just replacing the NOx sensors and I am good to go like most other engine sensors?

I had one of mine go on the same engine just after I bought it.
MBS fitted it but I cannot recall (sorry a useless post)

No issues since the new one fitted though if that's helpful

thanks for your answer but I would like to know if I can just replace the sensors myself or I need to go to Mercedes to program them.

No they would need recording if the module was changed. If you only changed the probe and kept the module they wouldnt need re programming.
