Picture i see something wrong

I think not , inboard discs would be found on the rear .And front brakes operate just before the rears . I think may be one wheel was damaged,, or even rusty , and this one on the car is a replacement . When i saw the rear wheel first i thought BMW. Hazard a guess and say brake shoes on each corner .

Harder to cool drums were still in use back then and Mercedes (in the car Moss won the Mille Miglia in) mounted them inboard at the front to maximise their size and cooling.

Is it that the factory-correct Bosch 9 1/4 inch headlight glass has been replaced with the more commonly available Bosch asymmetric lens fitted to the Beetle and 356?
If that is correct, you really do need to get out more......:banana::banana::banana:

Found another cracker .With 4 solid steel wheels

It looks like they’ve mixed 300 S and 300 SC wheels to me. They have what appears to be the SC wheel on the front on the opposite side.
How silly of them, they should have put the 300 S wheels on one side of the car, and the 300SC on the other, this way the car will never look wrong!

This reminds me of a true story... many years ago there was a local café near our office, it was a rather big place and they also did deliveries. It was generally believed that they had a small fleet of delivery vans, however in reality they only had the one van, with the side panels painted in their shop's livery, and on one side there was a large "Delivery Van 05', while on the side of the van it said 'Delivery Van 07'.....

That is total class!

Rubber or plastic insert on the chrome bumpers and 2x chrome stripes to the front wings missing. Maybe some models have and others didn't 🤔

White steering wheel, black steering wheel, maybe options were available to choose from?

Looks like they couldn't make their minds up and put the slotted wheel on the front on the other side
Now if they had put both the slotted on one side, and the plain on the other, chances are it wouldn't be spotted (even by Optimusprime) 🤭

Reminds me of our next door neighbour in the 70s. He bought a brand new Ford Cortina but had not noticed that the drivers side was L trim whilst the passenger side was GXL with the rubbing strip and Rostyle wheels.

Weds fantastic .Know what. i also found that picture and i never saw the wheels on the front now have the slots in them.Dam Quickfit cant trust them haha ..I would have keept them on one axle .Someone did a work over on the silver W188 and fitted a Wibasto sun roof .
