My bootlip spoiler has just arrived and I need to paint it to match the car. I believe it needs to be prepared with some kind of plastic primer before the top coat. Had a look around and found some on Halfords website, can anybody tell me if this will do the trick or is there something else that you can recommend.
Thanks
Dave

is the boot spoiler plastic or fibre glass most spoilers today are fibre glass and you can use standard primmer if anything standard primmer is stronger i have been doing my own spraying for a few years now and never had a problem

Spoiler

It seems to be made of some kind of rubber/plastic. It is quite flexible so I don't want the top coat cracking.

yes i'd use halfords plastic primer.

Primer
