We quite often see diesels in the workshop with a very common complaint of lack of power or some people describe it as the kick down not working.

Do some basic checks firstly like oil levels, fuses etc.

Listen for any escaping air under pressure when you are driving at full load. If this is the case you will probably have a boost pressure leak from somewhere. The common areas are: Intercooler, rubber boost pipes and the inlet manifold itself. If you suspect a boost leak then listen at the front of the engine and see if you can hear where it is coming from while a friend gives the...

Can i test maf sensor ?

Dont have star diagnostic in my town :/

i cant drive to another city.. i only can drive 20mph

i live in small city in bosnia, with 1ooo people live. Dont have mechanic..

You need a good diagnostic tool otherwise you wont find the answer.

Unplugging the maf will not help.

I forgot to say, when i was changing my egr, i changed also air filter (i had one). After that, i drive my car perfectly.

Wil maf sensor work for a little because of changing air filter

Its impossible to say. MAF sensors on that engine are very very common to fail. Don't buy a cheap one. Pierburg or Bosch only.

You dont need Star, a £30 diagnositic machine would do it. failing that just take it to a garage and find out whats up with it.

Endlessly buying parts isnt the answer.

Unless there are loads of donor cars lying around, and the parts can be had for peanuts, then fitted DIY.....
