I ordered one on July 11th and am still waiting. I've spoken to Origin 3 times, last time was today, and they always say "it is shipping out today" but nothing yet. They have, however, already taken payment from my card. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow then I'm going to cancel it and get a refund.

I just traded by trusty B2 with origin for a pogodrive.
it arrived friday and I tested it properly today on the way into work. ( an hours drive) the screen froze 3 times particulary if the overspeed warning comes on. Totally rubbish - not got the latest maps - a very inferior product in my opinion. there are also sometimes delays between pressing keys on teh touchscreen and anything happening so you prerss again then yo uyget several instructions all execting when you dont want them to - I reckon its best they stick to what they know - ie camera detectors. also on the pogo drive there is no input for a laser detector . My unit also said the subscription had expired - its supposed to come with 6 months free so I paid another £50 on line on friday and reconnected to update the unit but it stil showed as expired.
Its on lts way back as we speak for a full refund - I have requested my B2 back.

I am in the market for whatever the BEST camera alert device is.
I had an origin b2 in mind, but see the POGO is the current generation device. Steve's review is very dissapointing, but perfect in a sense as I trust Stev's opinion on this area.
Anything else hot on the market or is a used/old stock b2 the way to go?

Anyone tried the Pogo Alert?
I REALLY like the way the power goes into the dock so if you hard wire it all in the device itsle fis very simple to remove. In fact I have only read good about this device.
The trouble is my hands free is not bluetooth and is a pain to keep changing and so my 2003 satnav (not been a DVD release for this since 2005) could do with updating too. So I should be looking at an all in one, but none of them seem to be good at everything and none have a nice docking feature and look very clumbsy to put in and out the car. If this is my main Camera alert device, it has to be in the car for every journey.
Wondering about the Road Angel navigator 9000 too. The always online (where there is GPRS) sounds good. Note sure it isn't too bulky mind.

I have the PogoAlert hard wired in my SL and I was a fan of the B2 and a bigger fan of new device! Clear display in changeable colours and ice clear audible alerts. Even withthe roof down and stereo turned up I can hear the bleep warnings (Turned them up high though just in case).
Coupled with a lasr Jammer, ooops, garage door opener, I feel reletively safe.
