Circumstances mean I am selling my 1999 T-reg C43 AMG.
Owned and maintained by me for 6 years, lost of drive from gearbox and worryingly expensive sounding noises from the gearbox earlier this week means time has come to say goodbye. I cannot afford to invest the money into the vehicle.
I have the choice of selling the car as is or breaking the car for spares. I have no real idea of value of car as is.
Rear tyres new in Winter 2010, plenty of life left. New front tyres fitted end of December 2011, less than 1000 miles old. New lower wishbones and ball joints fitted then. Mileage was due to roll over to 140,000 next week.
Front discs and pads due. Windscreen also cracked by stone flung up by car in front and this was due to be replaced with a proper Mercedes one, rather than an Autoglass clone, but that will obviously not happen now. Road tax due end of January, but I will SORN the car.
