I knew that Lamborghini started out by making tractors. I also know Porsche have a sideline deisgning things from toasters, kettles, cameras and clothes but had anyone come across Porsche tractors before?

I often wonder though how much Porsche actually had to do with the design of the kitchen paraphanalia ...the cynic in me suspects that it was a ploy for Siemens to command higher prices, and for Porsche to take a nice royalty cheque. That said, I would imagine their brand people would guard it fiercely, so maybe not.

My brother-in-law bought a 1-bed flat because that's all they could afford at the time. Didn't stop them having all-Porsched branded kitchen equipment though!! More money than sense? Probably not. More style than money? Definitely!!:D

PS What a cool tractor!!??

They had a few at the big Porsche Festival the year before last at Brands Hatch.

What I like about the orange coffee plantation one from Brazil is the streamlined bodywork, which clearly helps its top speed of 15 mph. Imagine how slow it would be without it!

Porsche made tractors long before building cars, the first tractor was 4 wheel drive to cope with the graidents in the vineyards along the Rhine valley.
They had a electric motor in each wheel, fed from an electric generator, which in turn was powered by a air cooled engine, the generic foreunner of the V.W.
which in turn drives Porsch cars , (nothing changes)

Porsche still have a connection with tractors - I believe the Boxer is assembled by Valtra, the Finnish tractor makers.
