Nice car by the looks of it.

Not high in demand however, I would be looking at £1995 were I to retail it.

At a local auction recently a 1997 E320 (petrol obviously) Avantgarde came through, 2 owner car, 121,000 miles, FMBSH, Electric Leather, Climate, Nice AMG rims, VGC all round, made £1100.

I know what you mean, but some private sellers are just very unwilling to spend a penny on something they are selling.

On another thread a guy spent £12000 was it? on an e-class with a shortish test, that was from a dealer.

But, this is not a private seller. I have a feeling it will fetch almost retail value, because the ad is very well put together.

Well, mailed the seller yesterday to see if I could arrange a viewing and a test drive. No reply so far and there is no 'phone number listed on the ad.

Wouldn't be keen on bidding unseen, even with the decent advert.

Nice powerfold mirrors and climate control and just had mb service, no heated seats (excellent worth having) or headlamp wash (waste of space).
