power löss

Hi Guy's I neef help. Ive recently tot a clk230 evo and had Some work doen to iT such as the head gasket. IT ran like a dream but since last saturday ivenoticed lach of power in 5,6th gears . Now its storting to loose power in lower gears I knop this should not happen. No fault codes are appearing Any Advice would-be be greatfully appreciatated thank you

You need to give a bit more detail such as the model -- w208 or w209 and date of manufacture. I'm going to guess its the W208 model which employs the M111 ENGINE together with an EATON TYPE scroll supercharger. Here is an example of a similar setup off the engine. You will note the the boost bypass valve that dumps boost back into the airbox. This has to be shut to allow full boost to get to the engine. I suspect it may not be closing as it should and this could lead to a loss of power or a leak leading to loss of boost. SEE the video further down for how it works in your model.
