I have a GLA200 amg cdi 2014. about a month ago there was no accelation but pulling away slowly, power loss. At high speed the speed does not go above 50. engine light is on. Took it to a merc specialist who said it requires new Inlet manifold and an EGR cooler, as these were all clogged up. purchased this last year and the car was running perfectly, only done 4k miles since. problem started 4 weeks ago.
is there Anyway one can unclogg these without taking them off. i have seen u tube using DPF cleaning fluid. does this work?
any help would be appreciated as the bill for the aboce is £1700.
