Hi,
I have a power steering leak from my e350 c207 2010. I have to put in steering fluid every week so its a pretty bad leak but cannot pin point where its coming from. Are e class know for steering leaking or problems? Its my 1st mercedes so not too familiar with them. Anyone have any ideas on this please

Hello and welcome . There is usually very little to the system . A small header tank , pump and a flow and return line to the actual rack.

I am surprised you are filling it up so often and not actually seeing where its going . Could be the end seals are gone an the oil is pooling in the rubber seal gaiters at each end of the rack.

Do you actually see fluid on the ground beneath the car ?

How much is it using ? the system typically holds just over a litre.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. There's no pool of oil on the ground and im usually putting in 500ml as tge power steering is noisy and dipstick is showing empty. I'll have to see if the garage can see anything while its on a ramp. I was hoping it was an easy diy fix but really cant see where the fluid is leaking from.

500 ml !! thats almost half of the full volume in there .
