Program key to start 1997 w210 E Class

Hello,

Can anybody help me I own a 1997 E Class, which is off the road because I cannot get a copy of the key and a remote to communicate with the immobiliser. The car just cranks but no start.
I would not mind if someone could totally buy pass the system and put an after market alarm. I just need to get the car running please.

That era is not easy to bypass

Does it not start at all?......if that is the case its probably not an immobiliser issue. It should still start.....but then shut down after a second or two when it fails to recognise the key chip. The remote has nothing to do with starting....just the chip in the key.
