Does the sunroof on a W124 Coupe go all the way back so the front edge of the sunroof section is in line with the rear edge of the roof aperture, or does it only go about two thirds of the way?

The roof on a w124 is a notoriously difficult (and potentially expensive) fix ...

If it is opening 2/3 rds of the way , i would be inclined to leave it as is , dismantling it to gain the last 6 inches could lead to more problems ...

Unless it actually stops working altogether , i would leave well alone ...
