My 1994 E300D has a dealer fit alarm and remote central locking system which was working fine until I left the car standing for a month and the battery became flat.
After jump starting it the remote locking no longer works.
I've done a search and only found that it's common and it can be fixed getting syncronsing your keys but I have not got a proper MB remote key just an aftermarket one.
Any ideas how I can fix this? I've been through the handbooks and no mention of what kind of alarm system it is.
The remote fob is a black rectangle with 2 edges rounded off and it was 2 buttons the left one is serated and the right one is smooth and there is a red LED at the top middle of the fob.
Any help please!
