R129 carpet mats

Are R129 mats meant to have clips/holes in them to secure ?
Ive got aftermarket mats now, but Ive noticed the drivers floor has chrome stubs in the carpet where a fixing might go ?

Yes, normally fixes via snap fasteners - the bits you can see in the carpet are the male attachments.
